As previously anounced, CETABC is responding to the COVID19 pandemic by taking Forum 2020 online. Instead of gathering at Thompson Rivers University this year we’ll stage a virtual Forum using Zoom video conferencing. Not only has the medium changed, the programme has been updated to include the most relevant material we can assemble for CE professionals dealing with today’s challenging circumstances. In addition to an online keynote, video-based workshops, and other resources, we’ll still provide a chance to meet and share best practices online! The draft programme is listed below but please check back for regular updates and to register for these free events.
Keynote Presentation
Amrit Ahluwalia
The CETABC Forum Committee is incredibly excited to announce that this year’s keynote presenter is Amrit Ahluwalia, founder of The Evolllution, one of the leading online journals publishing in the continuing education field. He will speak on CE’s vital role in leading institutions into the new reality post COVID19. Our institutions will have to deal with changing demographics, constrained budgets, and learners’ demands for more flexibility and relevance. These are all factors CE has dealt with for years, and going forward there is an incredible opportunity for our institutions as a whole to benefit from our experience
