A presentation on the Micro-Credential Handbook, an exciting new resource for anyone looking to develop modular credentials.

Annie Prud'homme-Genereux: 

From 2019-2022, Annie Prud’homme-Généreux was the director of continuing studies at Capilano University where she led the launch of over 60 new online courses, created a non-credit credential framework, co-led an institution-wide consultation to define micro-credentials, and doubled the capacity of the unit. She was a member of CETABC where she collaborated with Adrian Lipsett to organize short online PD training workshops for the membership. In September 2022, she left CapU and launched her consulting company, Science Spark Consulting, to work alongside post-secondary institutions to plan and implement initiatives that benefit learners. In this capacity, she led the development of BCcampus’s Micro-credential Toolkit, collecting knowledge from the sector, and collating it into an online resource for the community. She has over 25 years of experience in BC’s post-secondary sector at a range of institutions. In addition, she was a student in the continuing education units of Langara, VCC, BCIT, Red Deer College, and MRU, to name just a few. She served on the board of directors of the North Vancouver Chamber for five years. She has graduate degrees in biochemistry, journalism, and is currently finishing research on the future of higher education as part of a master’s of open, digital, and distance education.
