Wednesday, June 7th @ 1:15pm-2:00pm – Meet Our New Students—Kyle Baillie

It’s tempting to say that our students today are markedly different than they were even five years ago, but what if they are a product of the world around them? This session will explore contemporary topics such as mental health, social media, disability, as well as current research and promising practices on student health, well-being, and success inside & outside the classroom. Come meet our students in this interactive session.

Kyle Baillie (Ed.D.) is the Executive Director of Student Affairs at the University of the Fraser Valley and brings 23 years of student affairs experience to the discussion. This doesn't mean he knows much, but he's awfully curious and asks some good questions about the things we see, and how we can best support our students through their university experience. He is a scholar-practitioner who seeks the positive in a very real world and loves to connect with colleagues to discuss the wicked problems of our
