Carolyn MacLaren is Director of CE at the University of the Fraser Valley. She is particularly invested in identifying and removing program access and completion barriers imposed by post-secondary institutions. Since becoming Director she has advocated for the vital role that continuing education plays as an access point to education and employment. She has established key partnerships with the K-12 system, post-secondary institutions, community organizations, service providers, employers, and industry associations. She has expanded the programme offerings of this department. Carolyn continues to work closely with stakeholders to increase the number of students UFV serves through collaboration and a commitment to sustainability and innovation.
